Cardi B’s Paris Fashion Week Outfits Are a Lesson in Revenge Dressing
Cardi B is channeling Princess Diana and giving a lesson in revenge dressing at Paris Fashion Week this season.
The musician is known for her glamorous high-fashion looks, from wearing Thierry Mugler’s Venus dress to the 2019 Grammys to making headlines at the camp-themed Met Gala in an oxblood Thom Browne creation embroidered with 30,000 feathers.
Cardi B was booked and busy this Paris Fashion Week, flitting from show to show in one stunning look to the next. As her divorce from rapper Offset heated up on Sept. 25, Cardi B didn’t let her estranged husband — or the Parisian drizzle — rain on her couture parade.
Below, find the “WAP” performer’s looks from the spring 2025 season.
Fierce for Alexander McQueen Spring 2025
Seated across the aisle from The Rose’s Woosung, Cardi B was fierce in a lion-like belted coat with a sumptuous faux fur collar on Sept. 29 at Alexander McQueen’s spring 2025 show. After the show, WWD reported that she praised creative director Sean McGirr’s collection. “It was beautiful, it was dark, it was edgy,” she said, declaring a lace mesh dress with a high collar her favorite because she knew that it would look good on her body. “Give me 14 of them,” she joked.
Smoking Hot for Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring 2025
Arriving with a cigarette in-hand (when in Paris, after all), Cardi B was smoking hot in a graffiti print corset and mini skirt for Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood’s runway on Sept 28. Channeling the brand’s punk energy, she styled a fishnet catsuit underneath, completing her look with a miniature handbag and black platform boots.
Like Lydia Deetz for Paris Fashion Week Party
The rapper recalled Winona Ryder’s “Beetlejuice” character Lydia Deetz on Sept. 26 in a fabulous feathery jacket and gothic bouffant. She kept the rest of her look simple, wearing a long black dress, sunglasses, and piles of diamond jewelry.
A Ray of Sunshine for Rick Owens Spring 2025
The musician sported a sharp-shouldered Rick Owens ensemble in brown and taupe wool to the designer’s catwalk on Sept. 26. On her way into the venue, Cardi B enthused to WWD about the sun coming out for the show. When asked about her best tips to stay dry, she advised: “Keep your head down so the rain don’t hit your makeup,” hiding her lowered face behind her woolen-gloved hands to demonstrate.
Playing Peekaboo at Mugler Spring 2025
Cardi B played peekaboo at Mugler’s spring 2025 show, sporting a bold bowl cut with a striking middle part and a black mini dress with architectural cutouts. The Tabi-esque hairstyle later appeared in the show, with the models sporting the cleft-cut dressed in sultry dresses with plunging necklines similar to Cardi’s.
Keeping Cozy at Balmain Spring 2025
For Balmain’s spring 2025 runway, Cardi B wore a furry emerald coat paired with sky-high heels. She cinched her waist with a belt featuring a crystal-encrusted buckle. After the show, Cardi posed for pictures with French first lady Brigitte Macron. “It’s such an honor to meet you, I’m very grateful,” Cardi said to Macron as they hugged, WWD reported.
Glamorous in Gold for Rabanne Spring 2025
Cardi B started her Paris Fashion Week with a splash, wearing a golden chainmail dress with a fringe hem to Rabanne’s spring 2025 show on Sept. 25. The rapper accessorized with a chunky gold charm necklace and gold heels. Her long bronze hair was styled in loose waves, and dripped down her back.
