Premiere in Romania: World Class becomes the first health & fitness network in the country to achieve FitCert® Certification – Business Review
World Class, the leading health and fitness industry leader in Romania, continues to take significant steps in enhancing the quality and safety standards of its network of clubs and pools nationwide. Beginning this May, World Class reaffirms its commitment to excellence by announcing that it has become the first health and fitness network in the country to achieve FitCert® Level 3 certification.

FitCert® is an internationally recognized certification program focused developed by international industry body EuropeActive in conjunction with main industry operators, technical experts and the Royal Netherlands National Standards Body (NEN) who provide overall quality control. FITcert is the main driver for improving health & safety and operational excellence, as well as the highest standards in member services across the whole European health and fitness industry.

Obtaining Level 3 certification is a significant step for World Class, confirming the network’s dedication to providing the highest standards in a safe environment for our members experience, both in clubs and pools.
FitCert® Level 3 certification is in accordance with the criteria set out in standard EN 17229 and is issued by European certification, standardization, inspection and testing institutions: NEN, Kiwa, and EuropeActive. It evaluates health, fitness, and leisure businesses based on strict criteria to ensure they uphold excellent management practices. The certification allows clubs to showcase their commitment to maintaining high operational standards, ensuring a safe and well-managed environment for their members. It validates that the World Class network provides health and fitness services to European standards and represents a validation of the network’s commitment to:
• Member safety – World Class promotes a safe and clean environment, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and that its health and fitness experts are trained to provide support and supervision during workouts.
• Service quality – World Class continues to offer the highest-rated and most effective group fitness classes, personalized training and swimming programs, both for the general public and for corporate environments, to support each member in achieving their fitness and health goals.
• Social responsibility and the environment – In all its actions, World Class seeks to have a positive impact on the community and the environment, promoting a healthy lifestyle both within the network’s clubs and through public events organized to inform and educate the public about the importance of physical exercise for health.
