Cafe 360 owner surrenders business licenses, closes doors
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A bar that’s been a staple of Louisville’s Highlands Neighborhood for years has closed its doors for good.
Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control confirmed to WAVE News Thursday that the owner of Cafe 360 surrendered their licenses to the Metro last week. The licenses were set to expire on Sept. 26.

The bar has been at the center of controversy for months, after a man was shot and killed inside the business in March. The Metro got involved shortly after, deeming the property a “nuisance” in June, in an attempt to suspend the business’ 2 a.m. liquor license.
Then, the bar unexpectedly shut its doors in the fall, claiming it was just temporary. But now, a “for sale” sign is pinned to the building and Metro Officials say the closure is likely permanent.
