Travel Marquette CEO reappointed to Michigan Travel Commission

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – The CEO of Travel Marquette has been reappointed by Governor Whitmer to the Michigan Travel Commission.

Susan Estler, Travel Marquette CEO was appointed to the Michigan Travel Commission four years ago, and now she has been reappointed. She is one of two U.P. representatives on the commission.

The Commission oversees the growth of the travel industry throughout the state of Michigan.

Estler says her goal is to make sure everything the U.P. has to offer gets represented.

“Just making sure that we are included,” Estler said. “That the challenges and the positive things that we have going on here in the U.P. are taken into consideration as far as marketing and that aspect.”

The Michigan Travel Commission is an advisory committee for the Pure Michigan campaign and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
