Gophers Travel to Colorado for Ron Moore Intercollegiate – University of Minnesota Athletics
MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota women’s golf team will travel to Highlands Ranch, Colo. for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate from Oct. 4-6. The competition will be hosted by the University of Denver and held at the Highlands Ranch Golf Club.
18-holes will be played each day of the three-day, 54-hole event. There will be a 9:30am CT waterfall start on Friday and Saturday and a 9:30am CT shotgun start on Sunday. Live-scoring can be found at https://z.umn.edu/9uvu.
Lineup:
The Gopher lineup will feature sister duo, junior Isabella McCauley and freshman Reese McCauley, along with sophomore Mariana Mesones, junior Madison Le, and sophomore Sara Tomaszewski.
The Field:
The 14 teams teeing-off against the Maroon & Gold are host Denver, Colorado State, New Mexico, UNLV, Hawaii, Colorado, San Diego State, Xavier, Tulane, Kansas State, Texas State, Middle Tennessee, Wichita State, and Wyoming.
The Course:
The Highlands Ranch Golf Club plays as a par 72 and measures at 6,611 yards. The course boasts views of the Rocky Mountain front range and features expansive bentgrass greens.
