Eligible FSA and HSA accounts will now reimburse you for your Galaxy Ring purchase
It is now possible to obtain a Samsung Galaxy Ring with reimbursement if you have an eligible FSA or HSA account. This includes access to Samsung’s health suite, as there is no subscription cost.
The Galaxy Ring is Samsung’s latest endeavor to bring more health-tracking options to users. The ring is able to track daily metrics like heart rate, sleep statistics, and movement throughout the day – and several more. The Galaxy Ring is a great option for those already in Samsung’s ecosystem, along with other Galaxy devices.
Today, Samsung announced that the Galaxy Ring is now eligible for reimbursement through Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). These accounts are essentially tax-free savings accounts that offer a way to set aside money for medical expenses. Through this initiative, the Galaxy Ring can now be classified as a medical expense.
For the first time, eligible FSA and HSA account holders can now purchase the Samsung Galaxy Ring using their account funds. Galaxy Ring helps users monitor their health and offers powerful wellness tracking enhanced with Galaxy AI.
According to Samsung, the process for getting an HSA/FSA to reimburse a Galaxy Ring should be simple. Head to Samsung.com and purchase the Galaxy Ring as you normally would outside of this process. Then, submit the required information to an eligible HSA or FSA plan. If there is enough money in your HSA or FSA account, the Galaxy Ring should be covered.
There is no word on whether or not this applies to Galaxy Ring transactions that have taken place before today.
The best part about the program is that Samsung does not require a subscription to use the Galaxy Ring; everything about the transaction is free, according to Samsung. It can be used with any Android device and does not necessarily need to be connected to a Galaxy phone.
