New Saujette Shop’s Collection Makes Shopping In Person Fun Again

LARCHMONT, NY — If you are lucky enough to live in or around Larchmont, you won’t be needing a personal shopper. The village’s newest store has an eclectic mix of fashion chosen by a neighbor with a reputation in the industry.

Saujette, a new sort of women’s retail concept from a familiar face, is ready to make you look your best. The latest high-fashion addition to the center of the village on Boston Post Road, is the creation of Hannah Saujet, a Westchester native and resident of Larchmont, with a reputation both as a business leader and a community booster.

While Saujet’s neighbors will be the first to be able to take advantage of the new offering, the buyer at Sak’s Fifth Avenue already has expansion plans in mind.

Raised in Westchester, Saujet has made Larchmont her home since 2009, where she recently restored an 1898 landmark house as a labor of love. A graduate of Tufts, she made her first foray into retail through the renowned Sak’s training program, and eventually helped orchestrate the reintroduction of the heritage perfume house, CREED, into North America through her family business, International Cosmetics & Perfumes (now owned by Kering).

The future stores won’t all be in her neighborhood, but, like the brand-new flagship, will feature a curated assortment of women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, with a mix of well-known and newly discovered collections honed with Saujet’s professional and personal history as a fashion buyer, a global traveler, with an eye for trends built to last.

“Larchmont is the natural location for the very first Saujette,” she explained. “The collections we carry in the stores will always be carefully curated around the communities they intend to serve, and Larchmont is my home.”

The store will focus on women’s luxury, ready-to-wear clothing and accessories, featuring niche designer brands from Spain, France, Italy, Denmark, Australia, India, Japan and Argentina.

The newly-designed space is located at 2097 Boston Post Rd., in the heart of Larchmont.
