Dua Lipa is the ultimate biker babe in a leather corset and zipped thong hotpants

Our favourite artists are just as recognisable by their on-stage ensembles as they are the catchy bops they’re performing. Case in point: Sabrina Carpenter, whose style MO is showgirl chic in crystal bustiers, suspenders, bardot tops and frilly underwear. Or Beyoncé‘s cowboy boots and hat that give a Westerncore edge to her lace catsuits now she’s in her Cowboy Carter era.

As for Dua Lipa, she’s adopted a glam grunge aesthetic we personally can’t get enough of. Take her outfit for the iHeartRadio Festival a few weeks ago – a barely-there, plunging black waistcoat that put her chainmail bra on full display, paired with a black maxi skirt featuring an undone central zip that created a major leg slit.

Well, her latest look for a performance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival over the weekend [Saturday 5 October], has taken the theme one step further, proving she’s the ultimate biker babe.

The songstress took to the stage in a custom Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood ensemble. Dua’s look was handcrafted in the fashion house’s London atelier and was comprised of a black leather corset with silver bondage zip detailing across the bodice, featuring the brand’s signature Vivienne Westwood orb hardware.

Dua added matching black leather micro hotpants in a thong cut with a zipper running from the front, down through the gusset and finishing at the back waistband. She layered the hotpants over black floral lace leggings and wore black knee-high boots to complete the rock chic ‘fit.

Her fans were loving the look, taking to Instagram to comment:

Wow I love it 😍😍

Long may her glam grunge era continue!
