Travis Kelce’s 35th birthday bash was quite the spectacle with classic cars and NFL stars, but one notable absence caught everyone’s attention.

Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s superstar girlfriend, missed the Kelce Car Jam on Saturday, October 5, sparking quite a bit of chatter online. Kelce, however, appeared unfazed and spent the day surrounded by family and teammates, including Patrick Mahomes.

Addressing his sweetheart’s absence, Kelce explained to a reporter that she couldn’t make the event but would be cheering him on at the next game. “She will not be here right now,” the football icon said, as seen in a video shared via TikTok. “I know she’s coming for the game.” He also added, “Aw, I appreciate that, thank you,” when a Swiftie said how much they love Swift, 34.

So, why didn’t the “Cruel Summer” singer show up at Kelce’s party? Page Six previously reported that she has just been busy rehearsing for the restart of her Eras Tour, which kicks off again in Miami on Friday, October 18.

A source also told the publication that, “If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns. She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.”

With her Vienna shows nixed due to an ISIS terror plot back in August, Swift’s on high alert these days when it comes to her security, and rightfully so.

Meanwhile, an insider told Entertainment Tonight that the lovebirds are still going strong despite their busy schedule. “Taylor and Travis are still together and doing well. He’s been busy with the NFL season, and she has been enjoying some time off before her upcoming shows. Even though Taylor isn’t currently touring, she is still very busy with work and sorting out her upcoming plans.”
