This lone and wide ruler (it’s 14 inches long by 4 inches wide) makes cutting straight lines super easy. Because it’s see-through, you can line up multiple points to insure you are making an accurate cut, plus it has incremental markings (1/4 inch, 1/2 inch, etc) so you have lots of options for sizing. Remember the adage— measure twice, cut once!

Used in tandem with the wide ruler, this tool will help you make quick work of a project that requires a lot of cutting. Typically used for cutting fabric, I also like to use it on paper because it feels safer than an X-acto knife.

I pull out the glue gun almost every time I do a craft project. While it doesn’t work in every application (it won’t stick to soft rubbers, for example) it’s definitely the easiest and quickest way to tackle a project.
