Rappaport has made its debut in Germantown with the acquisition of Germantown Commons, according to BLDUP. Per the report, the   200,726 SF shopping center anchored by Giant sold for $69.7 million.

Rappaport, based in Virginia, has a longstanding presence in leasing and management within the county, including Rockville Town Square where they are looking to get things turned around. The shopping center was put chaser from EDENS, who has been instrumental in upgrades at Potomac’s Cabin John Village and Burtonsville Crossing.  partnership.

Germantown Commons, located at 13060 Middlebrook Road, is anchored by Giant alongside a diverse array of retailers including Gold’s Gym, Five Below, Petco, and Advanced Auto Parts.  Currently, just over 6,000 SC remain available for lease (two smaller spaces). Notably, Ross and Big Blue Swim School have recently joined the tenant lineup this year.
