Comedian Jo Koy and preschool sensation Blippi touring show are coming to The Weidner

GREEN BAY- The Weidner has announced stops by two new touring shows.

Comedian Jo Koy will return to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for a show at 7 p.m. March 2 as part of his new Just Being Koy Tour. He last played the venue in April 2022 on his Funny Is Funny World Tour.

Tickets are $55 and $66.50 and will go on sale at noon Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch Center box office. There is a limit of eight tickets.

VIP packages, which include seating in the first five rows, a tote bag, poster and exclusive tour merchandise, are $236.75.

Koy’s latest Netflix special, “Jo Koy: Live from Brooklyn,” premiered in June and humorously covers energy vampires, mumble rap, emoji flirting and the surprise of being called a zaddy. Among his previous stand-up specials for the streaming service are “Live from the Los Angeles Forum” in 2022 and “Comin’ in Hot” in 2019.

Calling all preschoolers: Blippi is coming to The Weidner

“Blippi: Join the Band Tour,” a stage show based on the popular preschool character, will play The Weidner at 6 p.m. May 14 as part of a new North American tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch Center box office. Prices are $37.75, $49.25, $60.50 and $83.25. All ages require a ticket.

Blippi and Meekah will be played by professional stage performers selected specifically for the touring show as they explore what makes music, including sounds, rhythms and instruments. The production will feature Blippi hits and live musicians as families sing and dance along.

Blippi’s educational videos garner more than a billion monthly views across platforms that include Netflix, HBO Max, Cartoonito, Sky, Amazon and YouTube and is available in more than 20 languages.
