Southern Sky Aviation at ECP is open for business

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -Southern Sky Aviation at ECP is officially open for business. The company celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday.

The facility is a fixed base operator at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. It will provide services including charters, maintenance, and fuel for arriving and departing, helping to grow the private aviation interest in Bay County.

Southern Sky officials said the new facility also created over 20 jobs.

”It is a first-class facility. We are extremely proud of it and most importantly the customers are already coming through the door are telling us that they have never seen a facility look so good. So we are very excited about the customer service and the facilities that we are delivering for them,” said Donald Howell, President of Southern Sky Aviation.
