St. Teresa Ministries to donate over $120,000 for World Food Day – WNKY News 40 Television

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – St. Teresa Ministries is presenting a check on World Food Day next Wednesday to benefit Warren County.

According to a release by St. Teresa Ministries, the event will celebrate the contributions of shoppers, donors and volunteers.

At the event, St. Teresa Ministries says it will donate more than $120,000 to local food organizations, helping to address food insecurity in Warren County. Over the past two years, the group says it has contributed over $350,000 to help organizations serving Warren County.

Recipients will include Glean KY, Holy Spirit Food Pantry, St. Joseph Food Pantry, Meals, INC and Holy Spirit International Outreach, the release says.

The release says representatives from the organizations and community members are invited to attend.

The presentation is set for noon on Oct. 16 at St. Teresa Thrift Store located at 600 U.S. 31-W Bypass in Bowling Green.
