North Platte well-drilling business receives Business of the Year award

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – Longtime chamber member, Beveridge Incorporated in North Platte, is being honored as the 2024 Business of the Year.

Beveridge Inc. vice president, Brandon Jones, said that the well-drilling business began serving the community in 1915 and is honored to be included in this year’s award winners.

“We certainly are honored, it’s great. We’re glad to be a part of the chamber and all of the benefits that they bring to the community. It has definitely benefited our company and we just want to thank them for their consideration and honoring us with the award,” Jones said.

Over time, Beveridge Inc. has slowly added more construction services based on community needs. Jones mentioned that the North Platte area has been extremely receptive to all of their endeavors to remain as helpful to the community as possible.

“We’re just here hopefully to serve the community and their needs. As we’ve grown, we’ve tried to fill gaps that the community has had in the construction industry. We try to fill that and make sure everything can be done locally,” Jones said.

The entire Beveridge Inc. board of directors and team is prideful in the fact that they have been chosen as 2024’s Business of the Year by the chamber.

“We just want to thank the community for their service. We want to thank our staff and management team and our foreman and leadership group on the field and we just want to thank everyone for supporting us and using the services that we provide,” Jones said.

The North Platte Area Chamber and Development Corporation’s annual banquet takes place at Venue 304 on Thursday, Oct. 9.
