Weekend Entertainment | Christian Rockers Lead Concert Lineup
Christian rock supergroup Casting Crowns will bring its The Awakening Tour to Covelli Centre on Saturday for a 7 p.m. concert.
The show is nearly sold out, with a handful of seats still available. Also on the bill are Mac Powell and Katy Nichole.
Casting Crowns has been Billboard’s top selling Christian rock act since 2007. The award-winning group – Mark Hall, Melodee DeVevo, Brian Scoggin, Megan Garrett, Juan DeVevo, Chris Huffman and Josh Mix – got its start as a youth group worship band originally based in Florida.
The band’s hits include “Who Am I,” “Voice of Truth,” “Praise You in This Storm,” “Just Be Held” and “Only Jesus.” Tickets are available HERE and at the box office.
Comedian Marlon Wayans will stop at Packard Music Hall in Warren for an 8 p.m. show Friday, Oct. 11. For tickets, click HERE.
Average White Band will return to the Robins Theatre on Saturday for a 7 p.m. concert. It’s the farewell tour of the respected Scottish R&B-jazz act, who last played the Robins in November. For tickets, click HERE.
Also returning to the Robins is Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees. Dolenz will be at the venue Tuesday, Oct. 15. He also played the theater in 2023. For tickets, click HERE.
