Santa Speedo 5k to support World AIDS Day

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) – Jackson County Health Department is planning an upcoming 5K to support World AIDS Day in December with a Santa Claus spin.

Participants are invited to come in professional run attire or have fun and dress up in a Santa Claus speedo or Mrs. Claus bras.

On Saturday, December 7, participants to the Eurma Hayes Center in Carbondale to walk/run the 5K. The event will start at 9 a.m. with awards at 11 a.m.

The entry fee is $30. All profits go toward those affected by HIV/AIDS in Illinois.

Interested parties can click here to register or arrive at 8:00 am on the day of the 5K.
