“I bought the air fryer from Drew Barrymore’s kitchen line last year and I haven’t stopped raving about it to friends and family. Now that the weather is getting cooler, I can’t wait to try out the slow cooker. It’s prettier than others on the market (I love the rich blue hue and gold accents!) and it’ll be perfect for cooking soups and chili this winter.”

“We just spent an obscene amount of money building a new deck, so you better believe I’m eyeing all the end-of-season deals on patio furniture and accessories. I’ve always loved Adirondack chairs, but I’m over the maintenance required for anything made of real wood. So these high-density polyethylene chairs are just the ticket — they’re practically maintenance-free, they’re lighter, they’re foldable, they’re stackable … what’s not to love? The hardest part will be choosing a color.”

“You can never have enough spooky Halloween decorations. I live in an area of Los Angeles that’s mostly populated by film and TV set designers, so my version of ‘keeping up with the Joneses’ is maintaining a respectably terrifying front yard during Halloween. This howling, posable werewolf has glowing eyes and is creepy enough to give me cred with the jaded tweens on my block — and it’s nearly 60% off.”

“If I’m going to have a pair of backyard Crocs, they might as well be glam. I plan to make this glittery pair my throw-and-gos for feeling fancy while playing with the dog and pretending to be a movie star while gardening. (Or pretending to garden.)”

“With the holidays just around the corner, I’m starting to think about everything I’ll need for hosting. One thing I like to have extras of is dishware and this lovely stoneware set looks far more expensive than it is. The minimalist design will look beautiful without taking too much focus from the food!”

“I already own the mini version of this classic KitchenAid stand mixer, but recently it’s become clear that it’s just too small … and not as powerful as the OG. So I’m currently eyeing this 4.5-quart model that’s $100 off at Walmart. It’s an investment, but as someone who loves to cook and bake, I know I’ll use it a ton. Now I just have to decide which color to buy.”

“Don’t judge me, but I’m not someone who irons their clothes. I much prefer using a steamer to release wrinkles and I’m in the market for a new one. I like how this one heats up super quickly (it takes just 15 seconds, whereas my old steamer took closer to a minute) and that it has a big window so I can see how much water it’s holding.”

“I’ve been slowly (but surely) furnishing my new apartment for the last year. I knocked out all the big furniture purchases early on, but now I’m working on finding little ways to make my space feel like, well, home. A new full-length mirror has been on my wishlist for a couple of months — and now that this one’s nearly $150 off, I’m going to snag it. Seriously, a chic arched mirror of this size for only $50? There’s not much more I have to say.”

“I’m a film buff (just got a Criterion subscription for my birthday) and a gamer (there is nothing better than Resident Evil 4). But I’ve always made do with a $100 TV because … you know how you just get used to things? Then I saw Miller’s Crossing in 4K and realized that although I live in a 150-year-old house, I can still have modern technology. But like many, who can spend big bucks? Behold the 4K glory of this 50-inch LG TV. It makes great films even better and Resident Evil 4 even more terrifying — all without a frightening price tag.”
—Heather Quinlan, Contributing Writer
“I’ve been in the market for a new pair of noise-canceling headphones and I can’t get over how pretty this gray and gold Beats pair is. And now that they are just $159, I think it’s time to take the plunge! Not only do they have 22 hours of battery life, but the cushioned ear cuffs look incredibly comfortable.”
