Wood Fruitticher travels to North Carolina and Florida to offer hurricane aid

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – A local restaurant food supplier in Birmingham is pitching in to help those affected by the recent hurricanes.

Wood Fruitticher drivers and Mercy Chef’s sent a crew to Ashville, North Carolina on Oct. 5 to deliver 2 truck loads of groceries to the communities that suffered the most damage.

The crew also sent trucks to the Bayside Community Church campus in Bradenton Florida for Mercy Chef’s to prepare meals for people who were affected by Hurricane Milton.
