The 24 Hour Plays — six original short works by six writers involving six directors and 24 actors, conceived, written, rehearsed, and performed in a 24-hour period, take the stage at 7 p.m. Monday at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, 601 Main St., Little Rock.
The playwrights are Kevin Delaney, Brian C. Earles, Dariane LyJoi Mull, James Mainard O’Connell, Lavinia Roberts and Werner Trieschmann; the directors are Ben Barham, Mark Burbank, Christy Hall, Deandre Lewis, DayDay Robinson, and Taijee. Musical guests are Stephanie Smittle and Kami Renee.

‘Murder on the Nile’
The richest young woman in England is taking her new husband on a honeymoon voyage down the Nile when a brutal murder happens on the riverboat in “Murder on the Nile.” And since it’s by Agatha Christie (based on her 1937 novel “Death on the Nile”), everybody on board is a suspect. It opens Wednesday and is onstage through Nov. 9 at Murry’s Dinner Playhouse, 6323 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock. Brooke Carter Wallace plays Kay Mostyn, with Michael Kutcher as her husband, Simon. Mark Hansen, Keith Harper, Laura Carlton, Sara Nichols, Micah Patterson, Miranda Jane, Jeff Bailey, director Roger M. Eaves and Paige Reynolds are the usual suspects. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday (12:30 p.m. Wednesday matinees only, Oct. 16, 23 and 30) and 12:45 and 6:45 p.m. Sunday. The buffet opens 90 minutes before curtain time. ‘Command and Control’
The MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, 503 E. Ninth St., Little Rock, screens the documentary “Command and Control,” an examination of the causes and effects of the Sept. 18, 1980, liquid fuel explosion at a missile silo near Damascus (Van Buren County), that housed a U.S. Air Force LGM-25C Titan II ICBM, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rogers Ghost Walks
During five evenings in October, costumed interpreters from the Rogers Historical Museum are leading 45-minute Ghost Walks tours in downtown Rogers, while telling true local stories of murder, mischief and mayhem taken from area newspaper obituaries printed from the 1870s to the 1920s. Tours start at 7 p.m., with additional tours leaving every 15 minutes, the last one starting at 8:15 p.m., Friday-Saturday and Oct. 24-26, on the grounds of the museum, 313 and 322 S. Second St. at Cherry Street. The tours are suitable for older teenagers and adults; wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk about one-quarter of a mile at a slow pace.
