3. Allow yourself to get distracted

You’ll naturally find useful echoes while on your quest, but don’t be afraid if you get distracted! Heading off the main path might well lead you to find some handy echoes (and some handy items!) that could prove useful further down the line.

4. Take a look around

You can use the Right Stick to move camera around while you’re exploring Hyrule. Creeping through Suthorn Forest and want to check for enemies lying in wait? Working your way up Eldin Volcano and want to check ahead for hidden drops? Get that camera moving and see what lies in store!

5. Revisit old areas

Once Zelda and Tri have cleared an area of its rifts, it doesn’t mean that the inhabitants are necessarily trouble-free! Head back to those areas and you may find some folks require help with additional tasks. Removing rifts also opens up those areas for exploration. You never know what you might find there, so it’s worth retreading your steps from time to time!
