The Aiken County Coroner’s Office will hold the 2024 Pauper Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Graniteville Cemetery. Being laid to rest are: Leon Jasinski, Ranae Burns, Robert McHugh, Roberta Lambert, Ronald Lange, John Read, Larry Lewis, James Kenny, Jimmy Tanner, Robert Phillips, Charles Wright, Alfred Kapazira, James Clifton, David Krall II, Charles Anderson and Wade Gable.
CNTA will hold its 33rd annual Teller Lecture Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Columbia County Expo Center, 212 Partnership Drive, Grovetown, Georgia. The program begins at 5 p.m. with a public reception and nuclear technology expo followed by dinner, lecture and an awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 and must be purchased by Friday, Oct. 11.
