The photographer behind the camera then interjected, saying, “Ladies, please,” and requested that Kidman and Hayek pose together. However, instead of joining Kidman for the photo, Hayek opts to pose with Katy Perry, who is now in the frame, while Kidman has already exited the area.

As Kidman walked away, it seemed the two actresses exchanged a few final tense words, as Hayek then whispered something to Perry, likely about what just went down.

“Every message we have received from those who loved and admired our Mother has meant more to us than we will ever be able to express,” Kidman continued. “Thank you from our whole family for respecting our privacy as we take care of each other.”
