Packers finalize purchase of business next to Don Hutson Center

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WBAY) – The Green Bay Packers finalized the purchase of Soap Products LLC, as it expands ownership of property around or near the stadium.

Soap Products is located at 842 Mike McCarthy Way, which sits adjacent to the Don Hutson Center and between the Clark Hinkle and Ray Nitschke practice fields.

Brown County records show Green Bay Packers Inc. paid $1,163,750 for the 20,809 square foot property, which is less than half an acre.

The deed was transferred to Lambeau Field Redevelopment LLC late last month and officially recorded on Oct. 4.

Earlier this year, Lambeau Field Redevelopment took ownership of the property of Team 2 Racing across the street from the Don Hutson Center at 841 Mike McCarthy Way.

The Packers paid an even $1.2 million in June for less than a third of an acre of land that sold for $440,000 in 2023.

In April, Lambeau Field Redevelopment bought the BP Station at the corner of S. Oneida St. and McCarthy Way from U.S. Oil for $2.5 million. That’s another half-acre owned by the Packers across from the Don Hutson Center.
