Fox Entertainment Studios Names Hannah Pillemer as Head of Scripted, Allison Wallach as Head of Unscripted

The newly restructured Fox Entertainment division is taking form, as Hannah Pillemer has been named head of scripted entertainment and Allison Wallach as head of unscripted entertainment.

Fernando Szew, president and head of Fox Entertainment Studios, made the announcement Wednesday morning, saying in a statement, “I am honored to be working alongside Hannah and Allison as we build the future of the new Fox Entertainment Studios. They are both incredibly talented creative executives with strong business acumen and a global point of view who will catapult our ability to create the kinds of unexpected, unforgettable scripted and unscripted original content that will define the Fox brand going forward.”

He continued, “I’m energized and grateful to work with these incredible leaders, the teams they’re building and the relationships they continue to foster across the global creative community.”

Pillemer was previously at the Fox-owned MarVista Entertainment as EVP of creative and production. She now leads all development, creative and production for Fox Entertainment Studios’ full portfolio of scripted content, which includes the comedy series “Animal Control” with Joel McHale and “Going Dutch” with Denis Leary. In her new role, she also oversees the production pipeline of nearly 100 made-for-platform movies per year, as well as drama series like Hallmark’s “The Way Home” and “The Chicken Sisters.”

Wallach, previously the head of global unscripted, now oversees all development, creative and production for Fox Entertainment Studios’ full scope of worldwide unscripted entertainment, with a focus on bolstering Fox Television Network and strengthening the Studios’ business with third-party platforms globally. Wallach’s purview includes Fox Alternative Entertainment, home to “The Masked Singer” and “I Can See Your Voice”; Studio Ramsay Global, which includes Gordon Ramsay’s “Next Level Chef” and the recently announced Netflix docuseries about the chef; and TMZ, which recently put out “TMZ Presents: The Downfall of Diddy.”
