North Peoria restaurant temporarily closed after car crashes into business
PEORIA (25News Now) – The owner of a North Peoria restaurant said his business is temporarily closed after a car crashed into the front door Thursday morning.
No one was inside Kabab-G at 7800 North Sommer Street when the accident happened about 8 a.m., owner Mohamad Kahil told 25News.
Kahil said the vehicle’s driver was taken to the hospital, but she was not seriously hurt.
He expects the restaurant to be closed for at least the next three days to repair the damage. He said the business has insurance to cover the losses.
