Analogue Modernizes the Nintendo 64 With 4K Reimagining

Analogue has already mastered the modern version of the 1980s GameBoy with its own iteration dubbed the Analogue Pocket. For its next piece of hardware, the company has unveiled its take on the Nintendo 64.

The new device is called the Analogue 3D and, among other technical advancements, offers 4k resolution. Analogue lauds the device as being compatible with “every original N64 game ever made” regardless of region.

The Analogue 3D is also Bluetooth-compatible and can be connected to WiFi. The device isn’t an emulator and uses entirely new parts. Each Analogue 3D also comes packaged with three cables: an HDMI, USB and USB-C.

The device arrives a year after first being teased and is priced at $250 USD. Pre-orders for the Analogue 3D open on Monday, October 21.
