The Simpson football team will try to take down a Wartburg team for the first time since 2018 today as they travel to Waverly for a matchup with the Knights. The Storm are coming off of a homecoming win over Nebraska Wesleyan 21-14 at Buxton Stadium to even their record at 3-3 on the season, but will have to try and get their first road win of the season. The Knights are undefeated in American Rivers Conference play this season, and are coming off of a 70-point performance on the road at Buena Vista last week.

Simpson head coach Reed Hoskins tells KNIA Sports Simpson will have their hands full, and will need the offense and special teams to be efficient in order to put their defense in a position to succeed rather than a constant short field.

The game will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Ryan Willis on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 1:05, with kickoff at 1:30pm.
