ALG Vacations Launches ALGVProActive Refresher Course for Travel Advisors
A new refresher course designed to keep travel advisors up
to date on the company’s programs and enhancements has been launched by ALG
Vacations, part of the Hilton family.
ALGVPro is ALGV’s
self-paced, on-demand online education program for travel advisors to learn and
engage in
its destinations, products, brands, service and more. The program does not
require advisors to revisit past courses but instead focuses on short modules
covering new updates since their last certification. The course format allows
advisors to focus on the most relevant topics and complete the training at
their convenience.
With ALGVPro certification, travel advisors can earn numerous
rewards, including eligibility for FAM trips and exciting prizes. Travel advisors
also have the opportunity to earn up to five Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
from The Travel Institute plus two additional CEUs upon ALGVPro completion.
“ALG Vacations is committed to supporting travel advisors,
and with the launch of ALGVPro Active we are continuing to provide essential
tools that empower advisors to thrive in an ever-evolving industry,” said Jacki
Marks, Global Head of Trade Brands.
She added, “This course is just one of many ways that we are
ensuring they have the most relevant and up-to-date resources at their
fingertips.”
Graduates of ALGVPro prior to October 1, 2024, will retain
ALGVPro certification status and benefits for 2025, with completion of the ALGVPro
Active course.
Advisors can complete the course any time before October 1,
2025, but should note that benefits—including eligibility for prizes and FAM
trips—will pause starting January 1, 2025, until certification is achieved.
Advisors who recertify by the end of 2024 will continue to enjoy the full range
of ALGVPro perks without interruption. New graduates after October 1, 2024, do
not need to enroll in ALGVPro Active.
