Enjoy a different side of Las Vegas nightlife at AREA15

Find a night of fun in many possible ways, all on the grounds of the arts and entertainment juggernaut that is AREA15.

If the night is all about sipping on some cocktails, you’ve got options. Inside the AREA15 complex, start by looking for the 23-foot-tall digital maple tree with 5,000 glowing LED leaves. This is Oddwood Bar, and master mixologists are whipping up experiential cocktails. If you can find the hidden stickers with a QR code, you’ll have discovered the secret menu! If you want to drink and play, head to Asylum Bar + Arcade. On the second level, it’s 21+, and there are many, many classic and modern arcade and video games. DJs spin on the weekends and there are weekly karaoke parties; experience it all with a craft beer, alcohol-infused slushie or cocktail-on-draft in hand. Now, if you want to drink and soar high above the valley, head right outside the doors to the parking lot and scope out Liftoff Bar & Ride. The open-air balloon ride takes a seated group up 130 feet into the air and offers a fabulous 360-degree view—bring your specialty cocktail that was whipped up at the bar for you before hopping aboard.

For some majorly fun drinks to share with some majorly fun friends, head inside The Beast, a gastropub serving up colossal cocktails like The Aquarium. Served inside a giant fishbowl, this cocktail is a blend of Svedka blue raspberry vodka, blue Curaçao, simple syrup, lemon juice and champagne, all topped with cotton candy. On the bottom, you’ll find Nerds candies mimicking rocks in a fish tank, and you’ll see Swedish Fish candies swimming around.

And this week, you’re in luck as AREA15’s famous parties called Massives (think festival meets rave) continue with the fall edition, scAREA15 Halloween Massive. “This year’s
scAREA15 Massive is all about immersing guests in a uniquely twisted Halloween experience,” says Noah Kessler, head of events and entertainment at AREA15. “We’re offering two distinct nights that bring together an eclectic blend of emo, goth and high-energy entertainment. Attendees should expect to be completely transported into a mysterious, circus-inspired world that’s unlike anything they’ve experienced before.” Friday, Oct. 25, celebrates the darker side of music with an emo and goth theme. The Emo Night Tour and Goth & Glampire’s one-year revelry, featuring David J from Bauhaus, leads the performance lineup, plus live bands take over The Wall. On the second night, Saturday, Oct. 26, the vibes shift into a more upbeat atmosphere with a headlining performance by Baby Gravy (Yung Gravy & BBNO$). Saturday night promises a more upbeat, high-energy feel that is sure to get everyone out on the dancefloor.

Throughout the scAREA15 Massive, guests can enjoy interactive art installations, roaming performers and a collection of vendors and craft makers all creating an immersive, carnival-like atmosphere throughout AREA15’s A-Lot, The Portal and The Wall. “Festivalgoers are encouraged to get into the Halloween spirit and come dressed in their best circus-inspired costumes,” Kessler says.”
