Business town hall held in Chippewa Falls

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) – Monday, the Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce held a town hall to talk about the challenges and opportunities businesses are facing.

Neel Kashkari, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, joined in, hearing directly from business owners and citizens.

The open forum aims to help the Federal Reserve better understand economic conditions in Western Wisconsin.

“I go back to Washington D.C. every six weeks where we set interest rates for the country. The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis represents Northwest Wisconsin, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Montana, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
