Two words drawing dozens to Beaumont’s south end for a job fair, matching prospective employees with businesses looking for workers.
The second annual We Care Career and Job Fair took place last Wednesday at Harvest for Lost Souls Church on Highland Avenue.
Chris Jones, acting president and director of the South End Charlton Pollard Greater Historic Community Association, says the goal was not only about making connections, but also providing resources to physically challenged men and women, and young people.

Applicants looking for the next step in their career paths met face-to-face with representatives who can help open the door to new jobs.
Beaumont ISD, BPD, BFD, the City of Beaumont, Goodwill, Acadian Ambulance, and Texas Workforce Solutions were among the attendees.
