Former Marquette Business dean named Wisconsin Titan 100 Hall of Famer  | Marquette Today

Tim Hanley, former Keyes Dean of Business Administration and current senior adviser in the Office of University Relations, has been named to the Wisconsin Titan 100 Hall of Fame.  

“I’m honored and humbled to be named to the Titan Hall of Fame,” Hanley says. “Each one of the award-winners has shown incredible foresight and ethical leadership over the course of their careers. It’s gratifying to be among that group for a third consecutive year. I’m thankful to all the many colleagues at Marquette and at Deloitte who played a role in making this happen.” 

Hanley served as the acting dean of Marquette Business for more than four years. During that time, he oversaw the construction of Dr. E.J. and Margaret O’Brien Hall, the college’s new home that opened in January 2023. The 100,000-square-foot, $60 million building is the largest fully donor-funded construction project in Marquette’s history. Under Hanley’s leadership, the number of first-year students in the college grew from 270 in fall 2021 to a record 499 in fall 2024. 

The Titan 100 awards are given by Titan CEO, a national peer group of high-level business leaders. Titan 100 honors executives who demonstrate exceptional leadership, vision, passion and influence in their fields. A person must receive the award for three consecutive years to be designated as a Hall of Famer. 

This year’s awardees are all Wisconsin CEOs and C-suite executives representing both the public and private sectors. This year’s award winners represent companies that collectively employ more than 113,000 people and generate $118 billion in annual revenues. Titan CEO will hold an awards reception for the group at Fiserv Forum on Jan. 30, 2025. 

Former President Michael R. Lovell was among the inaugural group of honorees in 2022-23 alongside Hanley.
