Rapid City firefighter sets world record

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Five Firefighters from the Rapid City Fire Department are competing in Nashville, Tennessee, against firefighters around the world.

The Rapid City Firefighter Challenge Team is in Nashville for the World Championships, which started on Monday and go until Saturday.

On Wednesday, Firefighter Morgan Helton received a new Division 2 Under 40 Female world record with a time of 2:35.73.
