Satechi’s QI2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad Is Built for Travel

Satechi has announced the Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad. This upgraded version of the company’s best-selling Trio Wireless Charger With Magnetic Pad features the latest Qi2 technology.

The new charging pad can deliver 15W of power to a Qi2-enabled iPhone, 5W to AirPods, and 5W to an Apple Watch. It also features fast charging for Apple Watch Series 7, 8, 9, Ultra, and Ultra 2. This is a really great way to charge multiple devices overnight or for a fast charge. The Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad has a foldable design that lets it double as a stand, supporting both portrait and landscape orientations. This makes it great for both desks and nightstands.

Satechi also designed the device to support StandBy Mode on iOS 17 and Nightstand Mode on watchOS. For an added bonus while traveling, the Trio includes a 45W US power adapter, UK and EU travel adapters, and a USB-C cable. This gets rid of the need for multiple cables and lets users charge all their devices with a single power source, even when traveling. The improved magnetic connection of Qi2 charging gives a great charge with proper coil alignment. This makes wireless charging much better overall, and the Satechi Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad increases the watts from 7.5 to 15. This makes the Qi2 Trio Wireless’s charging pad seem much better than the previous models. Also, the device has powerful magnets made for the MagSafe-compatible iPhone lineup.

The charger also has with a premium-grade aluminum enclosure, vegan-leather base, soft silicone charging puck, and sturdy, durable hinges. It’s noticeably small and can easily fit into a carry-on bag, backpack, purse, or anything else you’re carrying with you, though it is a bit expensive. You can buy the Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad directly on Satechi’s official website for $129.99.
