SE Wyoming Bracing For Major Storm System, Travel Impacts

Forecasters aren’t certain of all of the details, but it looks like southeast Wyoming could be hit with a blast of winter weather early next week.

Forecasters with the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service are calling it a “major weather system.” They say it could bring enough show to imact travel conditions in some areas.

The agency posted the following on its website:

Heads up for a possible weather pattern change for next week across southeast Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle. Medium range forecast guidance continues to show a strong cold front is set to move through Monday night into Tuesday with very cold air behind the front. Expect fairly widespread rain ahead of the front Tuesday with widespread snow behind the front in the colder air. Snow accumulations are possible along and west of the Laramie Range Tuesday into Wednesday that could impact travel and create major accumulations in the mountains. More information on this event will be forthcoming as we get closer to the event. Stay tuned!

Wyoming’s Best Halloween Decorations 2024

This year Wyoming morning talk radio show host Glenn Woods went to Casper Wyoming with artist and photographer Tim Mandeze and found the best Halloween decorations in the state.

That’s not to say that other towns did not have some amazing displays.

But Casper wins for 2024.

In this gallery, we will show you the daytime photos.

The next gallery will show you some amazing homes lit up for the spookiest day of the year.

We tried to find as many homes as we could. Sorry if we missed yours.
