Weekend Roundup: Plenty of spooky entertainment the weekend before Halloween
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)—The Wildcats are back at home; a performance of “Dracula” is sure to be on point, and jack-o-lanterns galore. The weekend before Halloween is sure to be filled with all kinds of spooky entertainment.
UK VS. AUBURN
Big Blue Nation is gearing up for another home game!
It’s UK vs. Auburn on Saturday.
The Cats hope to take home the win Saturday night and improve their 1 and 4 conference record.
The game kicks off at Kroger Field at 7:45 p.m.

HOWL-O-WEEN DOG COSTUME CONTEST AND PARADE
You can dress up your four-legged friends for the Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest and Parade.
It’s taking place at Legacy Grove Dog Park.
From pint-sized pumpkins to superhero hounds, you’re sure to see it all on Saturday!
Our very own India Jones will be judging the competition.
It is free to enter your dog into the contest.
You can register day of from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
The competition starts at 10.
KENTUCKY BALLET THEATRE PERFORMS “DRACULA”
Head out to the Lexington Opera House for a thrilling performance of “Dracula.”
Kentucky Ballet Theatre’s performance will allow the audience to sink their teeth into an adaptation of the classic story.
The performance on Saturday is at 7. Sunday it’s at 2.

PUMPKINMANIA
Pumpkinmania returns to Transylvania University’s campus.
The family-friendly pumpkin carving event is this weekend.
The jack-o’-lanterns carved will be displayed and lit up through Halloween night on campus.
If you would like a pumpkin to carve, you must register online.
The pumpkins and the event are both free.
The carving event starts at 11 a.m. on Sunday and goes to 4.
It will be in front of the old Morrison Administration building.
