Tommy Conway: Forward expects more goals in Middlesbrough set-up
Conway has started Boro’s last two games after being out for four weeks with a niggling injury.
He has played as the centre forward with last season’s top scorer Latte Lath starting on the bench.
The trip to Norfolk was the first time that Boro have scored three in a match this season and Conway hopes he and the team have now struck the right formula in attack.
“It’s only the second game I’ve played as a number nine,” he said. “But you can see the rewards I’m getting and hopefully I can build on that.
“When we scored three goals in the first half, it was some of the best stuff we have played this season.
“We’re getting better and better, especially in the final third and it’s starting to click for us.
“We just need to win games from that process.”
After the draw with Norwich, Boro remain ninth in the table, but just one point outside of the play-off spots.
