Winter of Curves Fashion Show heads to The Colonnade Sunday – WDEF
News 12 This Morning: Event curator Latasha Addison joins News 12’s Amelia Greer to preview a special fashion show on its way to Ringgold this Sunday.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The fashion event of the season is on its way to Catoosa County this weekend– with a mission to support curvy women and the Ronald McDonald House.
Latasha Addison is using this event to inspire those who have been through difficult circumstances.
She lost her son prematurely two years ago. Addison expressed how her ‘village’ lifted her up when she was dealing with heavy emotions.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case for every mother.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities supported her through her grief. Now, she wants to give back in a unique way.
Winter of Curves Fashion Show will be celebrating women of all sizes to promote inclusion and creativity. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to RMHC as a part of a charitable dedication to her son.
Several of her friends are partnering with her for this event on November 3 at The Colonnade in Ringgold.
It will be hosted by ‘CT’ with music by ‘DJ MIXX.’ Doors open at 5:30 on Sunday.
