Midtown Farmers Market Offers Bounty of Harvest Favorites & Lively Entertainment in November – Sacramento Press
Voted as California’s No. 1 farmers market and No. 3 in the nation as part of America’s Farmland Celebration by American Farmland Trust, the Midtown Farmers Market offers a bounty of fall harvest goods plus lively entertainment in November. An incredibly popular open-air market bursting with fresh fruit and produce, gourmet or locally made products and artisan goods, Sutter Health’s Midtown Farmers Market presented by SMUD is available year-round with winter hours in effect from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
To make the market easy to navigate – given it now spans five city blocks – destinations are identified by themed offerings such as Artisan Alley presented by IKEA, Boutique Boulevard, Market Square, Merchant Market presented by Shopoff Realty Investments, Producers Plaza, Savory Street, and the Street Food Sacramento block.
Throughout November, Midtown Farmers Market vendors are excited to offer an assortment of fall and harvest-related goods and gourmet items – perfect for serving or displaying on the Thanksgiving table – such as tabletop centerpieces made with baskets of flowers or gourds plus key offerings such as freshly made breads, veggies such as potatoes and sweet potatoes, scrumptious pies and desserts, and more.
