Alix Earle is deepening her relationship with the fashion industry, attending the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City. The social media influencer has been a staple of fashion events for the last year, attending fashion week shows and more.
For the evening, she chose Hervé Léger’s Lillian gown from the brand’s resort 2025 collection. It features a square neckline and a signature silhouette from the brand: a bandage dress designed to sculpt the body into an hourglass figure.
Léger first introduced its bandage dresses in 1989, becoming a hot-ticket item in the ’90s before making a return in 2007. The Lillian adds cutouts throughout the design as well as staple-like hardware. “A year in, [Michelle Ochs] is striking the right chord on her mission to rethink the bandage fabric lexicon the brand made iconic,” WWD wrote of the collection. In line with the eco-conscious discourse in fashion today, the Lillian uses recycled yarns in the design.
Earle wore her hair in a messy updo, the platinum blond highlights swirled around her face and cascaded around her shoulders. It was a classic bombshell style. She accessorized with a small set of silver earrings and wore the Maison Ernest Lidylle, a popular open-toe mule.
The Hot Mess podcast host was just in New York during New York Fashion Week for a Frame dinner. She is currently a face of the brand in a series of images photographed by Inez and Vinoodh. In May, Earle posed as the first digital cover star of “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.”
The 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards took place at the American Museum of Natural History in New York on Monday, with Cynthia Erivo hosting. Honorees at this year’s ceremony included Coach, Michael Kors, Annie Leibovitz and Erykah Badu, who received the coveted Fashion Icon Award.
