HBCU Homecoming Fashion Trainwrecks

More than ever before, this year’s Homecoming season has caused quite the fashion uproar. Our Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are known for setting trends and stepping outside the box, but after this year, it could be time to reel it back in. From inappropriate skirts to tired fashion trends, y’all might have gone a little too far with the fits this time around.

Now, The Root is not here to judge anyone, but we do have questions about some of this year’s Homecoming outfit choices. Remember, Homecoming is a family affair full of networking opportunities, small children, and tenured professors.
