Louisville deals for Small Business Saturday: What is your store planning for the holiday?

Small Business Saturday, a day that encourages shoppers to patronize local small businesses, will take place on Nov. 30 this year.

Ahead of the holiday aimed at supporting local businesses that help sustain the Louisville community, the Courier Journal wants your help to create the ultimate shopping guide by compiling a list of local businesses and deals.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of Small Business Saturday, which was started in 2010 by American Express as an effort to redirect shoppers’ dollars to local communities during the Great Recession. In 2011, the U.S. Senate passed a resolution declaring Small Business Saturday a nationally recognized day.
