Long Coats
The weather has been unusually warm this fall, but when it does get a little chilly, long coats are often what people are reaching for. The style is perfect for transitioning into winter, since the length makes it feel like you’re wrapped in a giant blanket. Made of recycled wool and polyester, this double-breasted coat from H&M has a roomy fit that you can layer sweaters under when the temperatures start to dip. You can choose from three neutral shades (black, beige, and gray) that will easily blend into your wardrobe.
Trousers
Trousers have become super popular, and it’s not hard to see why: The style is roomy and comfortable while still looking polished. Plus, the pants look stylish worn with white sneakers, loafers, heels, or just about any other shoe. These Everlane pants come in seven colors—black, navy, beige, sandstone, heather gray, sage green, and white—so you can grab one for every day of the week. According to reviewers, the wide-leg trousers are “comfortably loose without being too baggy.”
Knee-High Boots
An outfit formula that I’ve been seeing a lot lately is knee-high boots paired with a short skirt. (They would look great with a maxi dress or skirt, too.) This pair has a tapered toe and slim heel that give the shoes a sleek vibe. The faux-leather boots have a zipper on the inside of the shaft to make them easy to slip on and off, and the sole is grooved to provide traction while you’re walking.
Oversized Blazers
Blazers never go out of fashion, but for an updated take on the style, try one with an oversized fit. This single-breasted blazer features a notched collar, front flap pockets, and a two-button closure, and it comes in gray and navy pinstripe variations and solid black. One shopper said that the oversized fit means they “can dress business professional and still feel relaxed.” Another customer raved, “It looks and feels expensive for such a great price.”
