As the holiday season kicks into gear, people are ready to take some vacation time; however, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) has a warning for anyone who is thinking of taking a trip.
The BBB is warning about a company called Travel Exhibit 2024.
The company invites you to attend an event, promising two round-trip plane tickets and a two-night stay at a hotel.
But when you contact the company, no one will provide any further information or no one responds.
“They’re using well-known brand logos in their mailing but that doesn’t necessarily mean they were authorized to do so,” BBB President and CEO Michele Mason said. “So it’s really important that you do your homework.”
Mason says when the BBB tried to call the company’s number, they were unable to actually reach an agent.
