SNF open thread: Colts-Vikings gambling lines and picks for tonight’s games

We have an interesting cross-conference matchup in Week 9 on Sunday Night Football as the Indianapolis Colts hit the road to take on the Minnesota Vikings. Both teams are in the playoff mix at the halfway point of the season, but both are also looking to get back on track after losing last week.

Sam Darnold and the Vikings started the campaign hot but have cooled off with back-to-back losses, dropping their record to 5-2 and falling into third place in the NFC North. Meanwhile, the Colts have been up and down throughout the campaign, sitting at 4-4 and second place in the AFC South. Also, Indianapolis made a quarterback change this week, benching Anthony Richardson for Joe Flacco.

This is your place to discuss the game with other Las Vegas Raiders fans and any gambling picks you have as the lines below are provided by FanDuel Sportsbook.

Colts vs. Vikings

[Lines below are as of 11/1 at 12:00 p.m. PST]

  • Spread: MIN -5.5
  • O/U: 46.5
  • MIN ML: -240
  • IND ML: +198

Holder’s picks: IND +5.5, Under 46.5, MIN ML

I’m going with a hedge here as I think the Vikings are the better team and will win the game, but it might be a little closer than people expect. The Colts have a good defense that can keep opposing offenses in check, which is also part of the reason for the under pick. It wouldn’t surprise me to see this one come down to a last-minute field goal.

The Vikings have released their final injury report for the week, and Minnesota will be without linebacker Blake Cashman (toe) and defensive lineman Taki Taimani (ankle) while cornerback Akayleb Evans (hip) and guard Dalton Risner (back) are questionable. For the Colts, offensive tackle Bernhard Raimann (concussion) is out white defensive end Kwity Paye (hamstring) is questionable.
