Love’s Travel Stop brings 120 new jobs to Hattiesburg
Arby’s, Love’s Fresh Kitchen offer prepared meals at new venue
Hattiesburg is home to one of Love’s newest travel stops, bringing a new 24-hour retail operation and 120 new jobs to the Hub City.
Love’s Travel Stop, which opened Oct. 25, is located on Interstate 59 at U.S. 98 East, at 283 Ira Hudson Road. The location will offer prepared meals for sale from Love’s Fresh Kitchen and Arby’s.
The travel stop has such amenities as RV amenities, including six hookups, private showers, laundry facilities and a dog park.
Now in its 60th year, Love’s Travel Stop has more than 650 locations in 42 states.
The Hattiesburg location encompasses more than 10,000 square feet with parking spaces for up to 84 tractor-trailers and 52 cars.
Customers who use Love’s Connect app at other locations can also use it at the new Hattiesburg location, which will save them 10 cents per gallon on gasoline or 15 cents per gallon on diesel fuel for automobiles. The app also has offers on snacks, food items, drinks and other goods in the travel stops.
To celebrate the Hattiesburg travel stop’s grand opening, the company donated $5,000 to United Way of Southeast Mississippi. The facility will continue to support designated community efforts throughout the year.
