ANGC adds McManus, Manning as new members

Former CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus and former Giants QB Eli Manning are two of the newest members at Augusta National Golf Club, according to sources. Andy Jassy, the CEO of Amazon, and Ed Bastian, the CEO of Delta Air Lines, are other new members this year, sources said.  New members, by invite only, typically are notified in September ahead of the club’s opening for play in October. The club’s membership is believed to be around 300. 

Manning’s brother, Peyton, is also a member at ANGC. McManus is a longtime golfer who retired from CBS Sports earlier this year.

Golfweek reported last year that Annika Sorenstam was one of the club’s newest members. Other prominent members in the sports community include NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred and Braves Chair & CEO Terry McGuirk, among others. Augusta National declined comment.
