Low Impact Fitness Programs to Fit Your Needs
Provided by Prince William County Parks & Recreation
Did you know that low-impact, moderate intensity exercise can be just as beneficial as high-impact, vigorous intensity exercise? Low-impact exercises like walking, cycling, swimming and aqua aerobics can be just as effective in helping to improve your cardiovascular fitness, as well as strengthen bones and muscles without the hard impact on your joints. Pilates, Yoga and Tai Chi are forms of exercise that can help build and maintain strength, flexibility, and balance. This makes low-impact exercise a great option for everyone.
If you’re looking to add low-impact exercise to your fitness routine check out some of the programs we offer below.
