The City of Fresno announced on Wednesday that it is terminating its ground lease with the Central Valley Community Sports Foundation (CVCSF) at Granite Park.

The City says that CVCSF was told on May 17, 2024, that multiple issues needed to be fixed to keep the lease.

  • PG&E fees $263,000
  • Water and sewer fees $151,000
  • Billboard revenue $181,000

The city says it will no longer subsidize CVCSF’s operations at Granite Park, but it will continue to recognize all existing agreements for baseball and soccer events.
